With all the student protests in Canada, I sure hope Fearless Leader in Ottawa does not get frightened as badly as he was by those nasty old trucker protesters. If so, he’ll freeze/seize the bank accounts of the parents of these students.

Liberals show up late
Let me highlight the key direction emphasized in the words of the announcement on foreign interference today. These words that are also applicable to almost every other piece of recent political commentary by the Liberal government — for some time now! Whether speaking to housing, oil, interference or whatever, these are all issues that have existed and have required action for some time now. Action was not taken until the PM and his party dropped in the polls. Too little too late!

Fort Calgary to me
When will this woke lunacy end? The renaming of Fort Calgary to Confluence Historic Site and Parklands? As a third-generation Albertan whose family has been living here for as long as Fort Calgary has been here, I am proud of our history and getting sick and tired of the woke in our city trying to hide and erase our past.

Protecting our property
I happen to be one of these old NIMBY’s “whining” about our property investments being threatened by blanket rezoning. It’s what you call protecting our property. We worked hard for our property investments. We care about people and we are for low-cost housing which belongs in the newer communities and city-owned empty lots. Ms. Robinson, I have news for you. I, for one, am getting tired of people like you being bleeding hearts. I live in an old neighbourhood and I’m not ready to be pushed out at my expense. Blanket rezoning is a violation of ownership of private property. This is a Communist plot to push us out. What you said proves you have a Marxist Leninist ideology. So you don’t like our whining? Move to North Korea.
