Wayne Gretzky has once again shown off some of his dance moves, and they continue to be just a little bit cringe-worthy.
The Great One has been all over the news recently, having been name-dropped by US President Donald Trump late last year as well as rubbing shoulders with American politicians at the presidential inauguration last week as well.
This time around, he is not trending for his political moves, but rather for his dance moves.
Gretzky celebrated his 64th birthday today, which prompted his wife, Janet, to post a video of him dancing on her social media. While he was the greatest to ever lace them up in the NHL, he still has some work to do in the dance department.
This isn’t the first time that the NHL’s all-time points leader has shown off his swagger on the dance floor. Back in 2022, Gretzky was once again shown busting a move at his wife’s clothing campaign.

Believe it or not, these two videos aren’t even the most iconic ones of Gretzky dancing. That honour belongs to Wayne breaking it down at what appears to be some sort of funk performance. The exact time of this video isn’t exactly clear, but it was posted on YouTube in 2017.
Oilers fans in particular have used the video to celebrate wins over the years.
Gretzky retired from the NHL back in 1999, but it appears he is still finding new ways to have fun off the ice. While it may be a bit cringe-worthy to see his out-of-pocket dance moves, you can’t argue that the man isn’t having a good time.
Maybe we’ll see him bust out some new moves when Alexander Ovechkin eventually passes his goal record either this season or the next.
