A Calgary northeast pizza joint faced down a blaze coming from a nearby shed Monday morning, the city’s fire department says.
Calgary firefighters dashed to Pauls Pizza on the 2700 block of 32 Avenue after receiving multiple calls to 911 at around 6:30 a.m.
When trucks arrived firefighters encountered a shed fire, with the flames growing and extending to the attached building.
With the starting outside, crews extinguished the blaze before it made it inside.
The business is able to operate normally today.
No injuries were reported and the cause is being investigated.
