If you love Hallmark Christmas movies, you will love Lunchbox Theatre’s holiday offering, “Twelve Days.”
It’s a new Christmas musical with an original score and a love triangle with a twist.
The characters are all music students at university, getting ready for Christmas break.
“He has to decide how far he’s willing to go to give her the perfect gift. It’s funny, it’s sweet and the real interesting thing about it is all the actors play instruments, so we are the band,” explained Joe Slabe.
Slabe is the playwright, musical director, and an actor in “Twelve Days,” which runs at Lunchbox Theatre through Dec. 21.
There are several showtimes still available from lunch to 7 p.m., and the show is about an hour long.
But just like all shows in Calgary these days, tickets are selling fast, so get them quick.
