Snowy and slippery conditions are leading to less-than-deal conditions on Calgary roads Friday morning.
Calgary police say from 5 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, 47 accidents were reported; that number is expected to rise drastically as the morning continues.
Callers to the 660 NewsRadio traffic centre report especially dangerous conditions on Deerfoot Trail, northbound and southbound, between Beddington Trail and Airport Trail NE.
The city’s traffic department is reporting several crashes in the area, and cameras show multiple vehicles in the ditch.
