One of Calgary’s most loved bars has just opened its first out-of-province location in none other than Toronto.
National, the popular restaurant and entertainment brand from Concorde Entertainment Group, has four venues across Calgary but has now opened its doors to Torontonians at its new location at The Well.
The venue boasts a large room with plenty of seating, arcade games, a bowling lane and a dance floor to keep guests entertained all night long.
National’s menu is inspired by North American tastes, offering shareable plates, wood-fired pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and so much more. For drinks, there’s a wide selection of local craft beers, a curated cocktail menu, wine and zero-proof beverages.
The spot is also known for its variety of daily specials offered throughout the week, discounted late-night snacks and its “Out of Office” happy hour with half-priced drinks between 2 and 5 pm.
“National has long been a place to gather — whether it’s battling it out in the arcade, joining a league in the bowling alley, enjoying dinner, or just chilling out with a drink — and now we’re bringing this Calgary mainstay to Toronto,” said Dane Walker, district general manager at Concorde Entertainment Group.
“We’ve got something to suit everyone’s vibe, and we can’t wait to welcome in a whole new group of regulars!”
National isn’t the first Concorde brand to make it out to Toronto, as both Bridgette Bar and Lula Bar have recently opened in The Well.
