The Hockey Night in Canada panel this weekend will look a little different than usual.
Paul Bissonnette, also known as BizNasty, revealed today that he’s taking Kevin Bieksa’s spot on the broadcast tomorrow night. While Bieksa is a fan favourite and always has a funny story, BizNasty is also known for being hilarious.
I’ll be filling in for the legend @kbieksa3 on Hockey Night in Canada tomorrow night for a fantastic set of games. My Leafs vs McDusty & the Oilers. Only one problem. I have to discuss the Senators, but I don’t know who they are. I keep hearing one thing but keep seeing another.… https://t.co/bSYULaASB3

BizNasty should bring some fun energy to the panel as he’s known for being extremely entertaining. He’s a host on the popular hockey podcast Spittin’ Chiclets and is on the panel for NHL on TNT alongside Wayne Gretzky and others.
The rest of the Hockey Night in Canada crew, including Ron MacLean, Elliotte Friedman, Kelly Hrudey, and Jennifer Botterill, will all still be working.
There are two good games on the schedule for tomorrow night. The first one is at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT as the Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers go head-to-head. It’ll be Connor McDavid’s first game since reaching the 1,000-point milestone, and the contest will feature some of the biggest superstars in the sport.
“My Leafs vs McDusty and the Oilers,” said Bissonnette on X when talking about the game, showing who he’s cheering for in this one.
The second game of the night features the Chicago Blackhawks taking on the Vancouver Canucks. This will be phenom and Vancouver-native Connor Bedard’s first game back in his hometown.
Bedard was scheduled to play in Vancouver last season but missed the contest with an injury.
Fans who tune in will see a fresh voice on the panel, and with BizNasty being who he is, there will surely be plenty of fun.
