Looking to start the new year with a new career? You can begin your job search with Canada’s top 100 employers for 2025.
Mediacorp Canada Inc. revealed the annual list of companies on Friday, which coincides with its 25-year anniversary.
“Twenty-five years ago, it wasn’t easy for readers to find information on best practices in the workplace,” said Richard Yerema, executive editor, in a statement.
“The idea behind the competition was to create more transparency about what employers offered in terms of their benefits and culture, so we could start a conversation about work and workplaces.”
Managing editor Kristina Leung says they’ve seen winning employers adapt their work benefits throughout the years to “reflect the nation as it is today.”
One example is how companies quickly adopted remote or hybrid work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Another example is how in the list’s first edition, only eight winners offered paid vacation allowance of four weeks or more to start. Today, 31 employers on the list are at this level, and the numbers continue to grow.
So, if you’re looking for a new job with amazing benefits, one of the winning employers on this list might be perfect for you.
