Canadians could cash in on up to $73M in Friday’s Lotto Max draw

It could be an exciting night for lotto players across Canada as the Lotto Max jackpot soars once again.

According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), the jackpot for Canada’s biggest lottery game has increased to $65 million.

Along with the massive jackpot, eight Maxmillions prizes will also be up for grabs on Friday, which means the prize pool will be at $73 million.

Even though the Lotto Max jackpot is getting bigger, it doesn’t mean the price will. The play cost will remain $5 for three selections of seven numbers.

However, the odds of winning the main jackpot remain at one in 33,294,800 per $5 play and the overall odds of winning a prize stay at one in seven per $5 play.

Tickets for tonight’s draw are available until 7:30 pm PT.

In Tuesday’s Lotto Max draw, there was a $60 million prize to be won. The winning numbers were 01, 12, 13, 24, 28, 36, 39, and bonus 35. No one won the top prize or even the second prize worth $212,626.90.

The last time anyone won a Lotto Max top prize was on October 15, when a lottery player matched the winning numbers 08, 12, 19, 20, 26, 32, and 46. According to PlayNow, the lucky ticket was purchased in Etobicoke, Ontario. Someone from BC won the second prize worth $220,354 after buying their ticket online.
