A man is facing charges after a hit-and-run crash in northwest Calgary on Wednesday night that sent a driver to hospital.
Emergency crews were called to Nose Hill Drive NW at the ramps to Stoney Trail around 10 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash involving Kia Rio and a Mini Cooper.
Calgary police tell CityNews the driver of the Mini Cooper got out of his car and ran from the crash scene.
The driver of the Kia Rio was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers were able to find the driver who ran away in the nearby neighbourhood of Rockland Park.
He was arrested and has been charged with leaving the scene of a crash.
