One person to hospital after fire at SE Calgary apartment complex

One person was sent to hospital after a fire broke out at an apartment complex in southeast Calgary on Thursday.

Emergency crews were called to the area of 62 Avenue SE and Lynnview Road around 5 p.m. for reports of a fire.

The Calgary Fire Department (CFD) say the fire is now under control and one person was sent to hospital.

A woman who lives in the area tells CityNews one person became trapped inside their home and was unable to evacuate on their own.
