Hopefully your costume has room for a jacket underneath — Thursday evening is set to be chilly for trick-or-treating.
Though Halloween in Calgary has seen worse weather in past years, 2024 will go down as less than ideal, but not too bad.
“We’re right on seasonal for this Halloween, just barely above freezing,” says 660 NewsRadio Meteorologist Michael Kuss. “So, bundle up for freezing, basically, with the slightest winds that’s what it’s going to feel like.”
The day will see a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 4 C and a wind of 15 km/h. But, the wind will make it feel like -7 C.
As trick-or-treaters flood the streets, the wind will continue, making it feel like -8 C.
