C Suite ideal for young professionals

There are certain characteristics many young professionals with jobs in downtown Calgary look for when selecting their next home.

Among them are proximity to the office, amenities, space, style and, when sharing the place with others, privacy.

Les Jardins and a show suite displayed there checks these boxes. The C Suite is 952 square feet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. 

These bedrooms are well-sized at nine feet 11 inches by 12 feet nine inches, and nine feet 11 inches by 11 feet seven inches, respectively.

These bedrooms are located on the same end of the condo but separated by an open-concept dining area and great room. This in turn creates a valuable layer of privacy.

On that note, this format is ideal for a number of living situations. One case where this separation between sleep spaces comes in handy is the owner taking one room for themselves and rents the other to a tenant to help offset mortgage payments.

A couple with one child may see a fit in a condo of this kind, as well.

The larger bedroom includes a spacious walk-through closet that attaches to an upscale ensuite. This ensuite boasts a shower with a black frame glass door across from an elegant vanity beneath a full-width mirror.

The vanity is substantial, offering more than enough space for both partners in a couple to store hair and hygiene products.

In the show suite, the above mentioned great room is demonstrated as an ideal spot for gathering with a few friends for a Friday evening glass of wine. It is staged with a TV, couch, chair and coffee table.

The luxurious kitchen puts all features on one wall and an island directly infront of it. Among its high notes is a fridge with an exterior that matches the dark-toned kitchen cabinets.

A row of cabinets above the stove are much lighter than the others, creating a contrast and additional visual interest.

The island is generously proportioned, and includes a sink and eating that seats upwards of four people. This creates the perfect place from friends to sit and chat while dinner finishes cooking.

Just off the front entrance is a walk-in coat closet and laundry area. It is shown with a stacked front-load washer and dryer.

The location of Les Jardins, which boasts a lush central garden, puts residents less than five minutes by vehicle from commercial amenities such as those at the Market at Quarry Park. They’re a similar distance from recreation and fitness at Remington YMCA.

Moreover, golfers will appreciate that EagleQuest Golf at Douglasdale is about five minutes away, making it easy to squeeze in a quick round before or after work.
